Heat and kidneys

The A/C hasn't been fixed yet. I'm going to give them about 10 more minutes to show up and then I'm calling to make sure they got the notice from the weekend maintenance guy. It's really not that hot in here yet, but I'd just as soon have it be a little cooler in here for the baby and plus, it really is outside of the chinchilla's temperature-tolerance range as well. She's hanging in there, but I don't know how long she can take it.
So we had our next test done to check out Jack's kidneys. He does have reflux, which I can't remember if I explained before, but that is supposed to be the better choice for the problem. Again, supposedly he'll outgrow it or it will go away eventually or something. To my somewhat surprise and not-at-all delight, his reflux is on both sides--it's just worse on the left, which is the kidney we've been watching through this whole thing. So now we wait for the pediatrician to call and really give the news on what this all is supposed to mean.
