She's Baaaa-aaaack.

So many little things...

First, since it was a big deal at the time, but means very little in the big picture of life... We went out last weekend to Longhorn Steakhouse as a birthday dinner for both of us. We had a nice meal, ordered more expensive dishes than we normally would've and decided to pass on desert. As we were waiting for the waitress to bring back Jeff's card, so he could sign the receipt and we could split, who do you think walks by in the next aisle of tables? Who could it be? Who would you never, ever have expected to see working in a restaurant that you enjoy that is 10 minutes away from where you live (no one will care about this or understand it except for Nikki)? Who was rumored to have moved away to Georgia and frankly, good riddance. Jeff's ex-girlfriend, Tricia. That's right kids, she's back in town... Apparently. Living, breathing and working right in my favorite nearby shopping Mecca. She didn't seem to see us and we craftily ducked out after she went back in the kitchen. It's just better if we are dead to eachother. She's a psychopath.

Moving on...

I had a continuation on the interview process for that supervisor position that I "didn't get." My ex-manager apparently fed me a bunch of BS at what was supposedly the outcome of the whole situation, for whatever reason. Nothing she ever did made any sense, which is perhaps the reason why she is unemployed now. So anyway, a decision had never been made officially and the process continues now that the new director of our area wanted to meet with the applicants. It's been a very frustrating process, but I'm still in the running. I still feel pretty good about it, but it's very much up in the air now. I guess you'll know what happens when I know.

I'm spent... Maybe there'll be more later including a brief discussion on the Harry Potter series...
