Good-bye, home

Well, here it is. This is the last entry I will make before the move. The good news is, the phone company swindled me into not cancelling our internet services by offering to lower our rate by an additional $5 per month. That being the case, I will be back sometime on or after March first. That's not the point though. Sometime in the next 5 hours various portions of ye olde PC will be dismantled and boxed up. 24 hours from now, I'll be unpacking half of our belongings while the other half sit here waiting for Phase 2 of the move on Sunday. 48 hours from now, nothing will be here (hopefully) except our vacuum and some various cleaning supplies. Finally, 96 hours from now we will have no rights to this place at all. We will be officially moved and our lease will be terminated. This phase of my life is over and a new one will begin.

Even now, with that little, tiny space of time remaining I'd say we're only about 75% packed, at most. This weekend is going to be very, very difficult in a lot of ways.
