Yet another appointment

Once again, back to the doctor...
Everyone in the office was a fair bit more friendly today than they were last week, so that made things more enjoyable. Additionally, very likely, there is a for-sure end in sight to this pregnancy. Very likely, it will be between June 27 and June 29th, depending on the next ultrasound findings. Yes, that's right... One more ultrasound, the fifth one total. We're going back to the high-risk doctor for that in 8 days. That way he'll verify the size of the baby, which will cement the decision about a C-section or not and also do one last check on the kidney to determine WHERE we'll deliver. If there is any additional cause for concern, they'll send us to the larger hospital nearby so we can see a pediatric nephrologist instead of the smaller local hospital that we planned to use. I'm really getting frustrated with this kidney issue. When my doc called the other doc earlier today to clarify his report, he said now that he wasn't sure if the kidney had measured 6mm or 16mm and if the report had just been transcribed incorrectly. 16 would be quite an issue, but the day we were there, as he was looking at the scan, the word that came out of his mouth was "six" so very likely, it was 6 instead of 16. He also reported that he did see some changes in the collecting system of the kidney, which, as I gather, is likely due to the amount of stretching that had taken place previously that was seen in the previous ultrasounds. I'm hoping, once again, that if there has been no stretching since that this will be something that will heal itself.
Well anyway... Until I know differently, I'm going to go by the last thing we were told, which was everything was within normal range and, by all indications, was functioning properly.
Ugh... Enough already.
